This season has not gone the way the team as expected. The good news is that everyone in the organization, fans and other NFL teams expected this out come. With a (2-5) record so far and currently in last place in the AFC West, this gives the Broncos to experiment on what they have so far. They can focus on the positves and see what are the bright spots of this football team. One of those bright spots is the running game. Denver ranks 8th in the league in rushing lead by Willis McGahee who is returning from hand surgery. Since the team is ranked almost last in the league in passing yardage (30th), they would like to work to their strengths. That means take the ball out of Tebow’s hands and put it in McGahee’s hands. Another bright spot is the defense. Last year the Denver defense was ranked last in every category, but this year the team is ranked 19th against the pass and 17th against the run. If the offense can stay on the field and avoid three and outs, then the defense would be even better.
