The offensive line did a great job on creating running lanes for the running backs and keeping the quarterback upright. Yes, Denver running backs did carry the ball to profection, Tebow did run the option read perfectly and they got all the accolades. At the end of the day let’s be real. Without the offensive line, EVERYTHING on offense would be impossible. For a prime example, the offensive line played horrible in against Detroit and the whole offense suffered. Tebow stayed on the ground, running lanes never got opened for the running backs and most of all, the team couldn’t put up points. This past Sunday, the offensive line (Ryan Clady, Zane Beadles, J.D Walton, Chris Kuper and Orlando Franklin) had a chip on their shoulders when they played the Raiders. They fired off the ball against one of the leagues best defensive lines and they basically man handled them. The offensive line has definitely been making strides all year, especially in the running game. They still have some stuff to work on in the passing game but the line is coming along pretty good. All they need now is consistency.
